better late than never

i realize i'm late to boat on this one- but how great is lululemon? after hearing nothing but positive things about the yoga-inspired athletic apparel, i bought this tank:

from an aesthetic and functional perspective- i love this tank! it's the perfect length and it's just loose enough in the tummy area. i wore it for a yoga class and it stayed in place- but i think it will make a great running-tank too. loves.

requesting the pleasure of your company.

My attention has turned to my save the date cards- I'm feeling vintage stamps and calligraphy. I think vintage stamps add a little something extra, and I'm all about something extra. I love the idea of picking stamps that have symbolism beyond the minimum postage rate.

And because my handwriting resembles a young boy's, I'm looking for a calligrapher. Here's a pretty sample from a local artist:

inspiration

Miss Lillian and Betty inspired me to think outside the box in terms of an alternative guest book... She is using a darling vintage globe for her "guest book".

Since our wedding will take place in California, I think it would be nice to commemorate the destination. In lieu of a book, I'll use a vintage map... Post-wedding, I will have it matted, framed, and admire it daily (rather than having a guest book collect dust in a drawer). There are numerous options available on eBay; here are a couple contenders:

I also like the colors on this one.

yes, please.

Since I'll have a new monogram in a year, I'll need a new monogrammed tote bag... There's the standard-issue L. L. Bean tote:
Or, the fancy-pants iomoi tote... Which I absolutely LOVE:

The only difficult part is picking a pattern:

How cute are these Lanvin flats?
I think these Valentinos would make perfect wedding-shoes:

All available at Net-a-Porter AND they're on sale (but still rather expensive).
