Saturday, I picked up my wedding dress at Big Rock Little Rooster. I'm not the kinda girl who wanted to go to a huge shop with hundreds of gowns and designers- I highly recommend this shop to any bride looking for an intimate, personal shopping experience. They have a select number of designers (Christos, Reem Acra, Badgley Mischka, Kenneth Pool, Vera Wang, and Romona Keveza) and frequent trunk shows.

After the appointment, my Mom and I drank a glass of champagne at Rigsby's and did a little more shopping at Grandview Mercantile. I found the perfect vintage, rose-gold bracelet... The perfect piece to commemorate the day- it looks exactly like this:

happy birthday dr. magooooski

Yesterday was Dr. Magoo's birthday. We celebrated with a fantastic dinner at Rigsby's with both of our families.

For one of his Birthday gifts, I purchased an All-Clad Waffle Iron from William Sonoma:

And some waffle mix:

One might think these unlikely gifts for a 27-year-old man... But he seriously loves his waffles! We christened the iron this morning with some fantastic results:
