needlepoint is something that used to have a rather antiquated association in my mind, but i keep finding myself pining for little needlepoint novelties!



i've blogged about these before, but i still love the jonathan alder sunglass cases.

this coral needlepoint pillow is pretty (at sears of all places.)

and i'm still toying with the idea of buying an annechovie kit to give the needlepoint thing a whirl.

when i spotted these number rings on the j. crew tumblr it was love at first sight... but the $440 price tag?    not so much.

these catbird alphabet rings might not be an exact iteration, but at $88 a pop they're a worthy substitute.

pinhole press.

i recently discovered pinhole press and i'm loving it!

i made one of their 97-photo signature photo books filled with wedding pictures...  although not as user-friendly as other sites, i was beyond satisfied with the final result.  the paper quality is great, the vellum end leaves are a nice touch, and the matte laminated cover is perfect.  i ordered 2 initially as i was unsure what the final result would be, and i've already ordered an additional 3 to accommodate demand!

in addition to their great photo books, they have attractive calendars (which would make fantastic gifts, i might add.)

i'll admit it: i've been known to watch keeping up with kardashians.*   i like to see what they're wearing... so shoot me.

i'll even admit a penchant for over the top weddings...  welcome bags with a split of veuve? fine by me.

but a $20k wedding cake?

a $4.6k vase?

that's kompletely krazy.

it feels as though a majority of the people i interact with are:

a. pregnant

b. trying desperately to become pregnant

c. new parents

hilary duff is pregnant for goodness sake!

although it will be some time before i'm any of the above, it doesn't deter me from looking at baby garb.
